ANTONIO MATALLANA
Antonio Matallana was born in Spain in 1953.
He studied at Ecole Superieure des Beaux Arts in Seville, 1970 to 1975,
and the Ecole Superieure des Beaux Arts, Rouen, from 1976 to 1977. While studying Matallana met Sabine Satur, who became his wife.
Matallana and Satur paint using the technique of the Old Masters. Both artists work in egg tempera on wood. Matallana's unique compositions include timepieces, books, glass lenses, playing cards, as well as other objects.
