JEAN MARIE DANEIS
JEAN MARIE DANEIS was born on September 28, 1944 in Montmorillon, France. He drew his first sketch between the ages of three and four years. As a teenager, he worked primarily with watercolors. At seventeen, he completed his first oil painting of a landscape in the Comiegne forest. He gained notoriety amongst European and North American private collectors in Paris, with One Man Shows and Group Exhibitions in excellent galleries.
“DANEIS paints the yearning after the happiness to live a reality just as beautiful as a promise, yet sufficiently restrained and arresting to enable to open the door to the perfumes, to the memories and to dream.”
The Art of DANEIS gives life to the “Still Life”. He utilizes for landscapes the same techniques as for portraits. His masters are Chardin and the Dutch School of painters of the 17th Century.
