JACQUES CARPENTIER was born in Amiens (Somme) France. He is a student of the Impressionist and Post Impressionist period of the Nineteenth Century.  He presents his passion of nature in all it’s harmony, and his paintings are filled with movement and light, guided by poetic enthusiasm.  The artist's love of bright, vibrant colors are found throughout his work, featuring landscapes and architecture of the French countryside as his most cherished theme.
